So I asked the broker who helped me if I could work for him.

For the next 18 months, I trained. Learned. And saw just how broken the industry really was.

There were so many people struggling the way I had.

But they didn’t have time to figure it all out.
They didn’t know what questions to ask.
And worst of all? They didn’t even know help existed.

Boss Building Brokers was launched onto the scene in 2022 by yours truly after working as a building broker (and wearing all the hats) since 2020. I knew I could take everything I had learnt and make an impact on the industry by truely supporting first time builders through the process and celebrating with them every step of the way. 

Since then I've helped over hundreds of clients through the building process and into their own home. 

In 2019 after travelling for a few years I decided I was ready to move out of home and get myself a place of my own. But I had no idea where to start. Should I buy? Do I build?

I spent months going to display homes, home opens that we're not what I wanted, talking to sales reps, googling builders and left every weekend more confused than when I started.

Everyone had an opinion.
Every builder had a promo ending today.
And none of it felt right.

I didn’t feel confident.
I didn’t feel supported.
I just felt stuck.

I remember walking into yet another display home and being hit with “end of month promos” and “free upgrades” (that weren’t actually free).

No one was explaining the process.
Everyone was selling the fantasy.
And I was left thinking…

“Am I seriously expected to gamble over half a million dollars based on a brochure and what the sales rep is telling me?"

Once I started the journey with support, I was all in.

I designed my floor plan from scratch and created a 3D floor plan
Built a DIY building planner. Hired an interior designer for pre-start support. I was OBSESSED and I loved every minute of it.

That’s when I knew “I don’t just want to build a home… I want to help other people build theirs.”

One night, during a doom-scroll research session, I stumbled across something called a building broker. I’d never heard of it before. But I booked a call and went for an info session. 

That one meeting changed everything.

For the first time, someone:
- Walked me through the process
- Helped me compare land and builders
- Gave me the knowledge I didn’t know I needed

And most importantly? They were on my side, not the builder’s.
